Now, more than ever, the domain is going through a overcritical moment in which we are witnessing the drastic reduction in biodiversity on this planet. This is accompanied by an increase in species extinction. bingle of the United States biggest problems right now is the loss of the wilderness. This problem is collectable to an expanding human population, increased demand for material resources and physical space. The warm source of ecological crisis is capitalism. Capitalism is a cancer in the biosphere.

Dave Foreman, a radical American environmentalist, developed the idea that the regime agencies, as well moderate private organizations, could not and would not stand up to the powerful forces attempting to destroy Americas environment. Therefore, in 1979 he becomes one of the founders of Earth outset!, a group of environmental activists who work (often at great personal cost) to save the inherent world from human depredations. Their motto is No compromise in defense of mother Earth and these environmentalists use a great range of tactics to protect the wilderness ranging from grassroots organizing and matter in the legal process to civil disobedience and knave wrenching. Earth First! is not a cohesive group, but a computer program for people who share similar philosophies to work under. Earth First! is not an organization, but a movement.

This essay seemed to end too soon. It has some sizeable description of what Earth First! is but that could have been create better, then it goes into a long description of one Earth First! action and just ends. maybe it would have helped to exempt more the connection betwene Earth First! and the tree academic term action. There is a lot of great info on the web about Earth First! Usually mainstream media (New York Times, Time, Newsweek, etc...)doesnt treet Earth First! very fairly.
